If you go down to the woods today…

Garlic, fresh new garlic leaves are showing their faces in the woods and hedgerows near here.

These are quite easy to identify, once you have picked them just sniff. The garlic smell is unmistakable.
We cooked them on garlic bread and added some to pizza with a few stinging nettle tops. With a side salad of penny wort. A yummy frugal meal.
